Reference

Define basic reference name, description and type.

  • Module : Module
  • Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
  • Description : A space to write additional related information.
  • Help/Comment : A comment that adds additional information to help users work with fields.
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Base Reference : Base Reference
  • Parent Reference : Subreference's parent reference
  • Displayed Value : Displays Value column with the Display column

Reference Translation

Edit your reference translations for the predefined languages of your choice.

  • Language : A method of communication being used.

  • Sequence Number : Order the elements in the list will be displayed in the drop down list
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Valid From Date : A parameter stating the starting time of a specified request.
  • Valid To Date : A parameter stating the ending time of a specified request.

Table Reference

Define the table reference.

  • Table : A dictionary table used for this tab that points to the database table.
  • Key Column : Unique identifier of a record
  • Displayed Column : Column that will display
  • Displayed Value : Displays Value column with the Display column
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • SQL Where Clause : A specification of the SQL WHERE clause used for permanently filtering displayed data.
  • HQL Where Clause : By using this HQL filter, the user will never be able to see data that does not fit the criteria.
  • SQL Order by Clause : A specification of the SQL ORDER BY clause used for a displayed default sort of records.

User Interface Definition

Defines user interface specific properties on type level.

  • Module : Module
  • Implementation class name : Name of the java class implementing the functionality.

Selector Reference Columns

Define the columns that are going to be fill in

  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
  • DB Column Name : The name of a column within the database.
  • Column Type
  • Suffix : One or many characters which are added at the end of a statement or number.

Selector Class

Define the Java classes that implement the selector reference..

  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Java Class Name : The classname is used when generating a representation of the table in java (the entity or business object). The classname is the simplename of the class (so without the package name). Often the AD_Table.name can be used here.
  • Default : A value that is shown whenever a record is created.
  • Special Form : The name of the form being edited.
  • Reference : The data type of this field.
  • Process : A series of actions carried out in sequential order.
  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
  • Model Object : An identification of an object in the dictionary.
  • Client : Client for this installation.
  • Callout : A series of actions that occur when data is modified.
  • Action : A drop down list box indicating the next step to take.

Selector Mapping

Add mappings used to call the selector reference through a browser.

  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Mapping Name : A direction or guide used to call this object through a browser.
  • Default : A value that is shown whenever a record is created.
  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
  • Model Object : An identification of an object in the dictionary.

Defined Selector

Define and maintain selectors which make it possible to search through a suggestion box, a drop-down or a popup window with multiple search columns. The selector consists of selector fields which define which properties to show in the suggestion box and popup and on which properties to search.

  • Module : Module
  • Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
  • Description : A space to write additional related information.
  • Help/Comment : A comment that adds additional information to help users work with fields.
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Template : The template used to generate the visualization of the component.
  • Custom Query
  • Table : A dictionary table used for this tab that points to the database table.
  • Entity Alias
  • Column : A link to the database column of the table.
  • HQL
  • Datasource : The datasource
  • HQL Where Clause : The HQL where clause is added to the query to retrieve the data which is returned by the datasource.
  • Filter Expression : Defines a JavaScript expression that returns a HQL where clause
  • Display Field : The value of this field will be displayed in the selector text input box.
  • Suggestion Text Match Style : Defines the text matching logic used in the suggestion box.
  • Value Field : The value of this field will be set in the foreign key column.
  • Popup Text Match Style : Defines the text matching logic used in the filters in the popup grid.

  • Datasource Field : The datasource field is part of the datasource definition.
  • Description : A space to write additional related information.
  • Help/Comment : A comment that adds additional information to help users work with fields.
  • Default Expression : Defines a expression used to filter the property
  • Search in suggestion box : Defines if the field is used to search when retrieving values in the suggestion box.
  • Show In Picklist
  • Central Maintenance : A flag indicating that this label is managed in a central repository.
  • Show in grid : Defines if the field is shown in the popup grid.
  • Sorting of columns in a grid : Defines the sorting of columns in a grid
  • Filterable : Allow filtering on this field.
  • Sortable : Allow sorting by this field in the popup grid.
  • Clause Left Part
  • Out Field : The value of this field should be returned to the opener window

  • HQL/SQL Where clause : The Where Clause indicates the HQL/SQL WHERE clause used for filtering data
