Heartbeat Configuration

The Heartbeat server might return several queries to be executed locally. Consult the following link for the historic list of custom queries: http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/Projects/Heartbeat/Custom_Queries

The heartbeat data is stored in a file controlled by Openbravo S.L.U. It is collected solely to gather and send data about your Openbravo product installation back to a service on Openbravo SLU's infrastructure to assist managing your Openbravo product installation. As a benefit to you, with this information, Openbravo SLU can offer you system configuration and component update information, sent automatically to you. Available updates may include, for example, Operating System updates, Database updates and Openbravo code. This data will be used on an aggregated and anonymous basis to generate reports identifying where and how the Openbravo product is being utilized.

Openbravo stores this information on servers in the USA and implements security measures in accordance with applicable legislation to maintain the confidentiality of this data. This data is not used for commercial purposes other than as set out above. It is not communicated or transferred to any third party

You may deactivate this feature by disabling the ?enable heartbeat? box. In addition, you may exercise your right to access, rectify, oppose and cancel the data by writing to Openbravo, S.L.U. PO Box 5117, 31010 Pamplona, Navarra, Spain, or by email to privacy@openbravo.com.

By enabling the heartbeat, you consent to the processing of this data and storing of the same in the USA as set out above.

Heartbeat Configuration

Enable or disable the heartbeat process and configure internet connection proxy information

  • Proxy Required : Proxy configuration required to access internet.
  • Proxy Server : Proxy server used to access the internet.
  • Proxy Port : Proxy port on the proxy server used to access the internet.
  • Authentication Required : Is authentication requiered to use the proxy
  • Proxy User : User for the authenticated proxy
  • Proxy Password : Password for the authenticated proxy
  • TestHeartbeat : Test the Heartbeat Configuration
  • Disable Heartbeat : Disable Heartbeat process
  • Web Server Version : The version of Web Server
  • Web Server : The Web Server being used by Openbravo
  • System Identifier : Unique ID identying this instance of Openbravo.
  • Postpone_Date : Date set when user selects 'Later'
  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
  • Openbravo Version : The version of Openbravo.
  • Openbravo Install Mode : The method used to install Openbravo.
  • Client : Client for this installation.
  • Ant Version : The version of Ant used to build the application.
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.

Heartbeat Log

View a log of information sent to Openbravo by the heartbeat

  • Creation Date : The date that this record is completed.
  • System Identifier : Unique ID identying this instance of Openbravo.
  • Database Identifier : Unique Identifier of the instance's database
  • Mac Identifier : Mac Address Identifier
  • Activation Key Identifier : It is an identifier for activation key
  • Instance Number : Professional Edition Instance Number
  • Openbravo Version : The version of Openbravo.
  • Openbravo Install Mode : The method used to install Openbravo.
  • Operating System : The type of Operating System.
  • Operating System Version : The version of Operating System.
  • Database : The database in use by the system.
  • Database Version : The version of database.
  • Servlet Container : The type of servlet container Openbravo runs in.
  • Servlet Container Version : The version of Servlet Container Openbravo runs in.
  • Web Server : The Web Server being used by Openbravo
  • Web Server Version : The version of Web Server
  • Java Version : Java Version
  • Ant Version : The version of Ant used to build the application.
  • Proxy Required : Proxy configuration required to access internet.
  • Instance Purpose
  • Activity Rate : The rate of activity within the system.
  • Complexity Rate : The rate of complexity within the system.
  • Proxy Server : Proxy server used to access the internet.
  • Proxy Port : Proxy port on the proxy server used to access the internet.
  • Number of Registered Users : Number of registered users.
  • Usage Audit Enabled : Is Usage Audit Enbled
  • Installed Modules : List of the modules installed in the instance
  • First Login : Date of first login in the application
  • Last Login : Date of last login in the application
  • Total Logins : Total number of logins
  • Total Logins Last Month : Total number of logins during last 30 days
  • Usage Percentage : Percentage of time the instance has been in use (at least one session active) during last 30 days.
  • Maximum Concurrent Users : Maximum number of concurrent users during last 30 days
  • Concurrent Users Average : Average number of concurrent users during last 30 days
  • Rejected logins due to concurrent users limit
  • Number of Clients : Total number of clients in the instance.
  • Number of Organizations : Total number of organizations in the instance.
  • Type : Type of beat
  • Enable Custom Queries : Send Custom Queries to Heartbeat
  • WS Calls Maximum : Maximum number of Web Service calls per day in last 30 days
  • WS Calls Average : Average number of Web Service calls per day in last 30 days
  • Connector Calls Max : Maximum number of Connector calls per day in last 30 days
  • Connector Calls Average : Average number of Connector calls per day in last 30 days
  • WS Rejected Maximum : Maximum number of Web Service rejected calls per day in last 30 days
  • WS Rejected Average : Average number of rejected Web Service calls per day in last 30 days
  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
