Unit of Measure

A unit of measure is a standard unit or combination of units to be used alongside the quantity of a product.

Products of any type are managed in non-monetary units of measure.

Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
Standard Precision : Rule for rounding calculated amounts
Costing Precision : Rounding used costing calculations
Symbol : An abbreviated description used to define a unit of measure or currency.

Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
Default : A value that is shown whenever a record is created.
Description : A space to write additional related information.
Breakdown : To break down the line order on the shipment document
Use In Production : Flag for standard precision to be used in production run process.
