Account Tree

An account tree is the way Openbravo captures the chart of accounts of an Organization. The chart of accounts is a list of the accounts used in an organization's general ledger.

Element

The account tree window allows to review and maintain the chart of accounts imported through a chart of accounts module as well as to create new ones from scratch.

• Organization : Organizational entity within client
• Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
• Type : A distinct item characteristic used for processes and sometimes grouped within a category.
• Description : A space to write additional related information.
• Value Format : Value Format is the format the value will be displayed with.
• Tree : Identifies a Tree
• Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
• Client : Client for this installation.
• Account Tree : A unique identifier of the Account Tree.

Element Value

Element value tab list every chart of account element from the chart of accounts headings to the sub-accounts.

• Search Key : A fast method for finding a particular record.
• Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
• Account Sign : Indicates the Natural Sign of the Account as a Debit or Credit
• Description : A space to write additional related information.
• Element Level : Element Level
• Account Type : Indicates the type of account
• Show Value Condition : Show Value Condition
• Summary Level : A means of grouping fields in order to view or hide additional information.
• Element Shown : Show element
• Title Node : A node flagged as "Title Node", will always be displayed in the report, even if the balance is 0, and the "Show only accounts with value" is flagged.
• Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
• Bank Account : A monetary account of funds held in a recognized banking institution.
• Foreign Currency Account : Balances in foreign currency accounts are held in the nominated currency
• Currency : An accepted medium of monetary exchange that may vary across countries.
• Is Bank Account : A monetary account of funds held in a recognized banking institution.
• Organization : Organizational entity within client
• Client : Client for this installation.
• Account Tree : A unique identifier of the Account Tree.
• Account Element : A identification code for an account type.

Customized Elements

The customized elements tab allows to get an account tree element as a combination of a given list of existing elements.

• Sequence Number : The order of records in a specified document.
• Sign : Sign
• Account : The identification code used for accounting.
• Organization : Organizational entity within client
• Client : Client for this installation.
• C_Elementvalue_Operand_ID : Element value operand
• Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
• Account Element : A identification code for an account type.

Translation

Account elements can be translated to any language required.

• Language : A method of communication being used.
• Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
• Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
• Description : A space to write additional related information.
• Translation : An indication that an item is translated.
• Organization : Organizational entity within client
