Payment Term

A payment term specifies the period allowed to pay off an amount due.

Header

Payment Term window allows to create and configure the payment terms to be linked to the business partners.

  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
  • Search Key : A fast method for finding a particular record.
  • Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
  • Description : A space to write additional related information.
  • Offset Month Due : Number of months (0=same, 1=following)
  • Overdue Payment Days Rule : A plan to give additional days after the agreed payment term to pay without penalty.
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Default : A value that is shown whenever a record is created.
  • Fixed Due Date : Payment is due on a fixed date
  • Maturity Date 1 : The day of the month that invoices are due. 3 maturity dates can be defined.
  • Maturity Date 2 : The day of the month that invoices are due. 3 maturity dates can be defined.
  • Maturity Date 3 : The day of the month that invoices are due. 3 maturity dates can be defined.
  • Next Business Day : Payment due on the next business day
  • Fixed Week Day : A plan to give until a specific day after the agreed payment term to pay without penalty.
  • Comments : A space to write additional related information.
  • Valid : A confirmation that something is correct.
  • Payment Terms : The setup and timing defined to complete a specified payment.
  • Client : Client for this installation.

Translation

Payment Terms can be translated to the language required.

  • Language : A method of communication being used.
  • Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
  • Description : A space to write additional related information.
  • Comments : A space to write additional related information.
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Translation : An indication that an item is translated.
  • Payment Terms : The setup and timing defined to complete a specified payment.

Lines

It is possible to split payments terms into more than just one payment term line.

  • Line No. : A line stating the position of this request in the document.
  • Percentage Due : Percent of the entire amount
  • Offset Month Due : Number of months (0=same, 1=following)
  • Overdue Payment Days Rule : A plan to give additional days after the agreed payment term to pay without penalty.
  • Fixed Due Date : Payment is due on a fixed date

  • Payment Method : It is the method by which payment is expected to be made or received.
