Country and Region

Countries and regions are basic settings to share within Openbravo.

This window allows to visualize and/or to create and maintain the countries and the regions to be used in daily business activities.

Organization : Organizational entity within client
ISO Country Code : The geographic country code for a country based on the ISO standard.
Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
Address Print Format : Format for printing this Address
Has Regions : Country contains Regions
Description : A space to write additional related information.
IBAN Code : Country Code asigned to a country in the IBAN structure.
IBAN Length : The length of the IBAN code of a bank account is variable, depending on the country.
Region Name : The name of an area in a specific country.
Phone No. Format : Phone Format
Additional Postal Code : Has Additional Postal Code
Additional Postal Format : Additional Postal Format
Postal Code Format : Postal code Format
Language : A method of communication being used.
Currency : An accepted medium of monetary exchange that may vary across countries.
Default : A value that is shown whenever a record is created.
Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.

Hidden fields

Countries and regions can be translated to any language.

Language : A method of communication being used.
Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
Translation : An indication that an item is translated.
Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
Description : A space to write additional related information.
Address Print Format : Format for printing this Address
Region Name : The name of an area in a specific country.

Hidden fields

Regions tab allows to visualize and/or to create and maintain the regions of any type of a country.

Search Key : A fast method for finding a particular record.
Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
Description : A space to write additional related information.
Default : A value that is shown whenever a record is created.
Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.

Hidden fields

The Cities Tab defines Cities within a Country or Region. Cities entered here are not referenced when entering the address.
