Organization

An organization is an enterprise of a Client. Each client must have at least one organization created by running the Initial Organization Setup process. The process of creating an organization ends after setting it as "Ready".

Organization

The Organization window allows to maintain the organizations created by the Initial Organization Setup process.

  • Search Key : A fast method for finding a particular record.
  • Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
  • Description : A space to write additional related information.
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Summary Level : A means of grouping fields in order to view or hide additional information.
  • Legal Name : The legal name of the organization
  • Organization Type : Defines the Organization Type
  • Currency : An accepted medium of monetary exchange that may vary across countries.
  • Allow Period Control : Specifies if the organization can open and close a period control
  • Calendar : A table showing the days of the week for each month of the year.
  • Set as Ready : Set an organization as ready
  • General Ledger : The book containing all financial transactions recorded for the legal entity.
  • Default G/L Item for Funds Transfer : Default G/L Item used for Funds Transfer Process
  • Period Control Allowed Organization : Organizarion that has Period Control Allowed flag true.
  • Calendar Owner Organization : Organization that owns Calendar.
  • Inherited Calendar : Inerited Calendar from the organization that owns it.
  • Legal Entity Organization : Legal Entity Organization.
  • Business Unit Organization : Business Unit Organization.
  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
  • Client : Client for this installation.

Information

Information tab allows to add relevant information of an organization, information such as location and tax ID number.

  • Location / Address : A specific place or residence.
  • Tax ID : The government defined unique number for assigning and paying taxes.
  • D-U-N-S : Dun & Bradstreet Number
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Business Partner : Anyone who takes part in daily business operations by acting as a customer, employee, etc.
  • Contact : An acquaintance to reach for information related to the organization.
  • Your Company Document Image : The image that is shown in printed documents
  • Tax Not Deductible : Tax Not Deductible
  • Purchase Invoice's Reference for Payment Description : Purchase Invoice's Reference to be automatically included into the Payment Description.
  • Logo
  • Automatic writeoff amount
  • Sales Tax Exempt Rate : Tax Rate to be used in all sales invoices belonging to this Organization (in except of tax rates included in sales invoices, that have got the Is Tax Deductable flag active)
  • Reference Order : Uses Order document number as inout number
  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
  • Client : Client for this installation.

General Ledgers

Org Schema tabs allows to add or to review the accounting schema/s of the organization.

  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • General Ledger : The book containing all financial transactions recorded for the legal entity.
  • Create New Account for Business Partner : Create the new account for Business Partner
  • Sequence for Business Partner : The sequence will be used to generate number for creating the sub-account for Business Partner.
  • Create New Acount for Product : Create New Acount for Product
  • Sequence for Product : The sequence will be used to generate number for creating the sub-account for Product.
  • Account Length : Length of the account
  • Sub Account Length : This field indicates length of the sub-account number.
  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
  • Client : Client for this installation.
  • AD_Org_Acctschema_ID : Refers to the Accounting Schema of the organization

Period Control Old

Period control tab is a read-only tab which lists the fiscal calendar period status of an organization.

  • Calendar : A table showing the days of the week for each month of the year.
  • Period : A specified time period.
  • Fiscal Year : Calendar Year
  • Starting Date : A parameter stating when a specified request will begin.
  • Ending Date : A parameter stating when a specified request will end.
  • Document Category : A classification of document types that are shown and processed in the same window.
  • Period Status : Current state of this period
  • Period Action : Action taken for this period
  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
  • Open/Close : Open/Close
  • Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
  • Client : Client for this installation.
  • C_Periodcontrol_V_ID
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.

Period Control

  • Status
  • Status : A defined state or position of a payment.
  • Calendar : A table showing the days of the week for each month of the year.
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
  • Year : Calendar Year
  • Period No. : Unique Period Number
  • Name : A non-unique identifier for a record/document often used as a search tool.
  • Starting Date : A parameter stating when a specified request will begin.
  • Ending Date : A parameter stating when a specified request will end.
  • Period Type : Period Type
  • Open/Close All : Open/Close all Base Document Types
  • Closing Fact_Acct_Group_ID : Refers to the Fact_Acct_Group_ID of the closing entry
  • Regularization Fact_Acct_Group_ID : Refers to the Fact_Acct_Group_ID of the regularization entry
  • Divideup Fact_Acct_Group_ID : Refers to the Fact_Acct_Group_ID of the divide up entry
  • Open_Fact_Acct_Group_ID : Refers to the Open_Fact_Acct_Group_ID of the open entry
  • Open Close : Open / Close period control.
  • Period : A specified time period.
  • Client : Client for this installation.

Documents

  • Status

Data sets tab allows to view the reference data applied to the organization and informs in case there is any updated of a reference data applied availabe.

  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
  • Module : Module
  • Version : Version of the table definition
  • Dataset : Dataset
  • Description : A space to write additional related information.
  • Available Update : New version to update the current module
  • Organization Module : Modules and data sets applied to organization
  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
  • Client : Client for this installation.

Warehouse

Relation of prioritized on hand warehouses of the Organization.

  • Organization : Organizational entity within client
  • Warehouse : The location where products arrive to or are sent from.
  • Priority : A defined level of importance or precedence.
  • Active : A flag indicating whether this record is available for use or de-activated.
